Ive now been introduced to Adobe Lightroom and I love it. Been using it to experiment with images, as well as trying to increase the quality in some of my work so it reads better when it's published. I saw a group of birds on a telegraph pole and had to drive home to get a camera quick. I added more black to the image so that the pole and the birds became sillohete like and put more vibrance for the sky, making it heavily satuated.
